Regenerative and Aesthetic Gynecology
It is the name given to the set of procedures that seek to return functionality and aesthetics to the woman's genital area.

The main objective of regenerative gynecology is to rejuvenate, restore the anatomy of the pelvic floor, stimulate sexuality and harmonize the region, recovering a woman's self-esteem and confidence. These procedures work in the entire female genital area, both in the vulvar region, including the labia minora, labia majora, clitoris, as well as in the vagina, vaginal walls and in the perineal area.
Factors that cause the functional and aesthetic loss of the female genital area
- time factor: menopause with it comes genital atrophy and, as a consequence, symptoms that reduce the quality of life of women, such as vaginal dryness, which causes pain during sexual intercourse, and urinary loss, which occurs due to the loss of support of the urethra and can generate recurrent urinary infections, among others.
- extrinsic factors: we have, for example, obstetric traumas - such as childbirth that lacerated the vaginal muscles -, weight variations, chronic leukorrhea, smoking, alcohol consumption, constant friction in the vulvar region, such as physical exercises, clothes (jeans, panties, tight clothes) ...), use of anabolic steroids (darkening of the vulva and hypertrophy - enlargement - of the clitoris), cancer, among others.
- genetic factors:hypertrophy of the labia minora (increase of the labia minora) with it, it bothers you in sexual relations, in the use of underwear and bikinis, increase in the pubic mound (this can be genetic or extrinsic factor - related to the "accordion" effect), among others.
These are factors that contribute to aging and that can be prevented, however, when they are already installed, there needs to be regeneration.
